Handi-Lift has served architects, general contractors and building and homeowners for over 50 years by providing design, installation, and maintenance of vertical and inclined platform lifts.

Handi-Lift's website had a good architecture and content, and needed an optimized user journey that both aligns with how people consume web content, and that more effectively featured the company’s legacy, products and projects. In addition, the website needed more ways for users to interact with the company and ultimimately submit new business inquiries.
User experience: We completely revised the site’s user interface by providing key information visually, and a user journey designed for how people digest and interact with web-based content. The site’s homepage now tells a complete yet scannable story about Handi-Lift’s legacy and services. Project and product pages were completely restructured. We re-organized existing content to provide a more logical flow for general users, with key information called out for users of specific types (i.e. Architects, building owners, home-owners, etc.).
Content strategy: We completely refactored existing content, making it scannable and embedding clear paths to more detailed information for users who desired this. The redesign featured images and graphics as prominent story-telling elements. We also introduced and placed context-specific FAQ content throughout the site that has reduced the load placed on Handi-Lift’s internal sales team and increased site visibility in organic search.
Site Conversion: We replaced the existing website’s contact form, which was embedded in a modal, with a dedicated Contact Us page – a simple change that has significantly increased HandiLift’s new business inquiries because the contact page now appears in search results. We made existing calls-to-action (CTAs) more prominent, and embedded more CTA’s throughout the user journey. These enhancements have more than doubled the site’s conversion rate.
